Terms of use

These terms apply to satoshis.watch, its API and Watch accounts. Using any of them means you accept these terms. satoshis.watch is part of the satoshidata.ai ecosystem.

What satoshis.watch is

satoshis.watch reads the public Bitcoin blockchain and shows what it holds about an address: balance, transactions, unspent outputs, history and value. It is a viewer. It does not take custody of bitcoin at the addresses you look up or control those addresses. It never asks for a private key or seed phrase. Anyone asking for one in our name is not us.

The data

Balances and transactions are what the blockchain records. Fiat values are market estimates. Labels and notes are context, not proof. Verify anything you act on. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, legal or compliance advice.

Your account

A Watch account saves addresses, notes and preferences under a username. No email address is needed. Your password, Watch Key and API keys are yours to keep safe, and anything done with them counts as done by you. You can delete your account at any time in settings. The privacy page says what the account stores.

Paid features

The price, what is included and the access period are shown before you pay. Payment methods are shown at checkout. Payments are final. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, you keep it.

Rules

Use the service lawfully. Do not disrupt it, bypass rate limits or access controls, probe it for weaknesses, or pull its data at a scale the published API does not allow. Do not use it to expose, harass or endanger anyone, and do not present a label as proof of anything. We suspend or end access that breaks these rules, and we limit use when needed to keep the service running for everyone.

What is ours

The blockchain is public and stays public. Our software, design, compiled data and analysis are ours: do not copy, repackage or resell them. Open source components keep their own licences.

Liability

The service is provided as is and as available, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness or uptime. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss from using the service, from being unable to use it, or from acting on its data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Rights the law does not let us exclude are unaffected.

Changes

We can change or withdraw features, and we can change these terms. Changes appear here with a new date, and using the service after that date means you accept them. Questions go through the contact page.
