Privacy

You can look up Bitcoin addresses without an account. Creating an account requires no email or identity documents. We do not use lookup activity to build advertising profiles or provide lookup queries to advertisers.
Your account
We store your username, saved addresses, names, private notes, colors, preferences and paid access to provide your account features. Private notes do not appear in public address reports. Signed-in History downloads include your saved transaction notes (Ledger Notes); private address-card notes are not included.
Passwords and Watch Keys are stored as hashes and checked when you sign in. Session and security records may include hashed network and browser information.
Lookups and service providers
We use request logs to operate and protect the service. They can include the addresses and pages requested, request details, timestamps and browser information. Our web logs mask part of your IP address; our Bitcoin-data API logs remove it for satoshis.watch requests. These records are not fully anonymous.
Cloudflare processes requests to deliver and protect the site. If our own history source is unavailable, we may send the requested Bitcoin address and transaction IDs to mempool.space. Each provider handles that information under its own privacy policy.
In your browser
Cookies keep you signed in, and browser storage remembers display preferences. Our page counter uses no cookies or stored identifiers. You can clear site data in your browser. Privacy mode hides information on screen; it does not change network requests or logging.
Payments and messages
Payment records connect your account with the method, amount, status, dates, invoice or address, and transaction details. USDC recovery may also record a payer address. Checkout asks for no name, email, mailing address or card number. Payment networks and providers maintain their own records.
If you contact us, we store your message, optional email, the originating page and site, time and masked network information to handle your request.
How long records stay
Web request logs normally cover about four days; Bitcoin-data API logs cover about a year. Network and browser hashes in account audit records are scheduled for removal after 72 hours. Sign-in sessions normally last 30 days and may be renewed by use.
Deleting your account ends access and clears private notes from the live account. Some account, security, payment, message and backup records remain; the log periods above do not apply to those records. Clearing browser data removes the browser's copy only.
Your choices and questions
You can edit your saved information or delete your account in account settings. For access, correction or deletion requests, or questions about this policy, contact us. We date updates on this page. Our Terms of use also apply.
